No. BuildWell Medicine is a physician-led medical practice. While Dr. Jasmol has advanced training in health coaching, motivational interviewing, and behavior change, these skills are integrated into evidence-based medical care rather than offered as standalone coaching services.
Your Consultation
Your comprehensive consultation is scheduled for up to 90 minutes, giving us dedicated time to explore your health in depth.
Before your visit, you'll complete your intake forms and can upload recent laboratory results, relevant medical records, and a current medication list through the secure patient portal. Arriving prepared helps us make the most of our time together.
Yes, you're welcome to have a spouse, family member, or support person present for your virtual visit if you'd find that helpful. The consultation itself is conducted with the scheduled patient.
Every comprehensive consultation includes your personalized BuildWell Consultation Blueprint™, summarizing the key insights from your visit, your highest-priority opportunities for improvement, individualized recommendations, and practical next steps. When appropriate, recommendations can also be shared with your primary care physician or specialist.
Only if you'd like them to. With your permission, your BuildWell Consultation Blueprint™ can be shared with your primary care physician or specialist so your care stays connected.
You'll generally receive your written Blueprint through the secure patient portal within 5 business days of your visit.

Payment & Insurance
To provide the time, individualized attention, and comprehensive approach that lifestyle medicine deserves, BuildWell Medicine operates as a self-pay consultation practice. This allows us to focus on your health, not insurance billing requirements or time-limited appointments.
The Comprehensive Lifestyle Medicine Consultation is $325. Follow-up consultations for established patients are $175.
Depending on your plan, Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds may be eligible for use. Upon request, we can provide documentation of your visit for your records. Because every plan is different, eligibility cannot be guaranteed.

Yes. BuildWell Medicine complements, not replaces, the care provided by your primary care physician and specialists. We work alongside your existing healthcare team by providing comprehensive lifestyle medicine consultation and personalized recommendations that support your ongoing medical care.
Medication considerations may be discussed as part of your consultation and recommendations. Ongoing medication management is coordinated with your primary care physician or specialist.
If recent laboratory results are available, they can often provide valuable insight and should be uploaded before your appointment. Additional testing, when appropriate, will be discussed during your consultation and coordinated based on the scope of your care and recommendations.
BuildWell Medicine focuses on helping you understand how lifestyle factors influence chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, fatty liver disease, and obesity. Recommendations are designed to complement the ongoing care you receive from your primary care physician or specialist.
No. BuildWell Medicine does not provide urgent or emergency care. Call 911 or seek immediate evaluation through an appropriate emergency service for urgent or potentially life-threatening symptoms.
Virtual Visits
All consultations take place virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, allowing you to meet with Dr. Jasmol from the comfort of your home while you are physically located in Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia.
